Volunteers:

The main reason for having volunteers in our organization is that we cannot do it all by ourselves. We also believe that by getting our community involved in what we are doing, we connect them more to our vision, and help it to expand and grow.

Volunteers are treated just like regular employees; they have job descriptions, they sign contracts with the hours they wish to work, and they are held responsible for their tasks.

We welcome all ages but we ask that volunteers under 16 years of age are accompanied by an adult.

Below is a brief list of the most needed skills. Even if your skills are not listed below, feel free to click the button to the right and let us know how you can help us reach our goal of treating 1,000 people this year.

Immediate Need:

Grant Writer:  You have written grants for nonprofits before, you enjoy researching, writing and applying for grants, and are comfortable using a database system similar to the one provided by the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.

Outreach Coordinator: You are passionate about what we do, you have an infectious personality and nobody can say no to you, so when you go around Santa Cruz county telling businesses, friends and family what we do, they happily make tax deductable donations.

Thank You!
