Our Vision
We aim to be the leaders in improving the health of the less fortunate members of our community by providing free complementary and alternative medicine. We see a future where members of our community struggling with diabetes, obesity, stress, substance abuse, and other debilitating conditions have options to their healing modalities, regardless of income level.
Our Services
By providing acupuncture, nutritional counseling, meditation, massage and energy medicine we are able to tackle some of the leading conditions that are disabling members of our community, and as a result, disabling our community as a whole. The rates of stress, obesity, diabetes, and substance abuse have all increased in the past decade. There's plenty of evidence to suggest that alternative medicine is effective in treating these conditions. In 2003 the World Health Organization (WHO) published a report about clinical trials researching the effectiveness of acupuncture. More than one hundred indications were discussed, including obesity, diabetes and stress. See report.
Our Mission
We believe that alternative medicine should be accessible to those that cannot afford it. We strive to provide the best care in alternative medicine, treating everyone that walks through our clinic with respect, dignity and compassion regardless of their age, race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and marital status. By partnering with local business
leaders, foundations, and private donors, we aim to have a team of CAM practitioners that will allow us to provide free alternative medicine to all low income members of our community.
