Services Offered:

NADA Protocol: This treatment uses a standardized treatment protocol aimed at treating stress, PTSD, insomnia and substance abuse. The treatment protocol was created in the 1970s by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) and uses the same 5 ear points on everybody. Unlike all other acupuncture treatments, there is no intake nor a diagnosis. The treatment is done in a group setting where participants sit in a circle as they receive the treatment. The needles are kept in for 30 to 45 minutes.

Pricing: The price per participant is $20 and a minimum of 5 participants is required for this group session before we can send an acupuncturist on site. Groups of 5 are scheduled every hour.

Full TCM Treatment: With the full Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment, the person is diagnosed and treated according to TCM principles. After the practitioner reviews the intake form, the practitioner proceeds to ask a few more questions to better understand the case. We try to understand not only the symptoms, but also the root of the problem. By understanding the emotional state of the patient, the eating and exercise habits, the onset of the symptoms, and how the symptoms change, the practitioner begins to weave a Pattern. From this Pattern a Chinese medical diagnosis is made. Once a diagnosis is achieved, a treatment plan is implemented. The treatment usually involves acupuncture and Chinese herbs, however, if the patient does not want acupuncture, another way of stimulating the acupoints will be used, such as acupressure, microcurrent, cupping or moxibustion. In the case acupuncture is recommended and acceptable by the patient, the needles are kept in between 30 to 40 minutes. After the treatment, the practitioner prescribes an herbal formula that the patient can purchase on-line from our herbal partnering company. Generally the herbal formulas come in tincture form, requiring mixing 30 or so drops in a glass of water. A subsequent visit is scheduled for the following week. In follow-up appointments a quick intake is done to see what has changed since the last treatment.

Pricing: The price per patient is $85 and a minimum of  3 patients per visit is required before we can send an acupuncturist on site. Patients are scheduled every hour.

Herbal Treatment: For those patients seeking an alternative route for the treatment of their conditions, but don't have the time for the full TCM treatment, we offer a treatment consisting of consultation and diagnosis using TCM principals,  and then the prescribing of an herbal formula; purchased online through our partnering herbal company. In most cases herbal formulas are available in tincture, making its consumption very convenient and its bioavailability one of the highest.

Pricing: The price per patient is $35 and a minimum of 5 patients per visit is required before we can send an acupuncturist on site. Patients are scheduled every 30 minutes.
